43年前、1978年のちょうど「今頃」、全米ヒット・チャートで、13位に上昇していたのが、この曲でした。
「裏方」として数々の名作を支えた2人のセッションマンが、アーティストとして残した唯一の全米トップ40ヒット。
「Saturday Night Fever」旋風が吹き荒れる中、この週の13位が最高位。もう少し別のタイミングだったら・・・と悔やまれる成績でした。（あくまでも個人の感想です。）

Forty-three years ago, right around this time in 1978, this song was climbing to #13 on the US charts.
It was the only Top 40 hit in the U.S. for the two session men who had worked “behind the scenes” on so many masterpieces as artists.
In the midst of the “Saturday Night Fever” whirlwind, this week’s number 13 was the highest. If it had been released at a different time, it would have been a disappointing performance. (This is my personal opinion only.)
