オリジナルは、この2年前、作曲者でもあるAllen Toussaintという、カヴァー・チューン。この翌週、Thelma Houston「Don’t Leave Me This Way」を倒して、王座奪取！しかし、その翌週には「希代の名曲」Eagles「Hotel California」に、その座を譲りました・・・。

The original was a cover tune written two years earlier by Allen Toussaint, who also wrote the song. The following week, he beat Thelma Houston’s “Don’t Leave Me This Way” to take the title! However, the following week, the “masterpiece” Eagles’ “Hotel California” took over the title….
